The RaceQuip OF20 is a Snell SA2020 rated open face automatic racing helmet incorporating classic styling with handcrafted production techniques. The FRP composite shell is positioned by hand to strike a balance between light weight and strength. HANS / HNR reinforced M6 threaded inserts are attached to the shell together with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner. HANS or other anchor posts for head and neck restraints (not included) can be easily attached to the exterior of the helmet using the installed M6 threaded inserts. A wide eyeport provides good peripheral vision and allows the use of glasses or personal glasses. The SA rating means that the interior and the Nomex paint are flame retardant, as well as the kevlar chin strap, so the RaceQuip OF20 helmet is suitable for use in all types of motorsports. The comfortable fit combined Nomex interior along with the exhaust vents on the top of the shell help to keep the scalp cool. All of these features are wrapped in a hand-placed FRP composite shell and the result is the exceptional value delivered by the RaceQuip OF20 Open Face helmet.
