Technical features
Outer shell
Carbon fiber and Aramid outer shell. This technology has been dubbed by the COVA (Carbon On View & Aramid) brand. This new compound is very light and ensures excellent impact absorption and high resistance to abrasion and compression, reducing the tension of the cervical muscles.
The chin area is made of double density polyurethane foam. This further optimizes the absorption of a shock on the front of the helmet. The chin guard incorporates a detachable anti-pollution filter with variable air flow.
Ventilation:
Effective ventilation system with a three-position air intake in the chin guard, one inlet just above the visor and two at the top of the helmet.
All air vents are easily manipulated with gloves. On the sides there are two small stabilizers in the form of air outlets to ensure optimal air circulation.
Aerodynamics
The aerodynamic profile of the Race-R Pro GP has been tested in the wind tunnel and is equipped with the most advanced technologies (CFD: Computational Fluid Dynamics).
The new rear spoiler offers high aerodynamic efficiency and stabilizes the helmet at high speeds. Designed to detach in the event of an accident to impact as little as possible and ensure maximum safety for the rider. The racing design chin guard profile reduces aerodynamic drag behind the bike's fairing.
Visor
The new Race-R Pro GP incorporates a clear and optical class 1 visor, with variable density (2.8 mm at the edges and 4.25 mm at the center); offers perfect optical quality. Features external anti-scratch treatment, internal anti-fog treatment and tear-off brackets. Incorporates a new mechanism that allows you to open the visor more easily. Quick disassembly system of the visor.
Interior
Interior High tenacity “Alveotech” padding with Sanitized® treatment, breathable and comfortable. Cheek padding designed using the new 3D “morpho” technology to ensure greater comfort and fit. The ear area pads are made of memory foam to reduce noise. The design of the side padding is optimized for eyeglass wearers (Easy Fit system patented by Shark).
