I DIDN'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THESE, BUT I LEARNED,,,, AND REAL COOL MACHINE!WHEN I FIRST PLUGGED IT IN, ALL IT WOULD DO IS "FLASH" SOME NUMBERS IN THE DISPLAY,,,, SO I WENT TO THE INTERNET AND FOUND
G-R-E-A-T
VIDEOS HOW TO WORK ALL THE CONTROLS.
I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS AND WAS SUPPOSED TO WAIT 18 MINUTES FOR IT TO WARM UP AND STOP FLASHING, SO I TIMED IT AND AT ABOUT 12 MINUTES IT STOPPED FLASHING AND I STARTED TESTING THE "ADJUSTMENTS".
THE TEMP ADJUSTMENT WORKED FINE, THE TIME ADJUSTMENT WORKED FINE, IT WAS BEEPING FINE SO I DID NOT TEST HE "ALARM" ADJUSTMENT. THE "SECRET" UNMARKED BUTTON WORKED FINE ALSO.
I HAD IT SET AT 370 DEGREES AND I TESTED THE TEMPERATURE WITH MY DIGITAL THERMOMETER AFTER ABOUT 22 MINUTES OF BEING "READY" AND THE THE " TOP" PLATE WAS 351 DEGREES AND THE "BOTTOM" PLATE WAS 345 DEGREES, THIS MAY HAVE BEEN READING LOW BECAUSE OF MY CHEAP THERMOMETER
OR
MAYBE IT WASN'T ON LONG ENOUGH.
I HIT THE "START" BUTTON AND IT COUNTED DOWN TO ZERO JUST FINE.
I STARTED CLEANING IT WITH DAWN FOAMING SOAP, 3M "PURPLE" SCUFF PADS AND METAL "PICKS" AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS,,,,, WHAT YOU SEE THAT I CLEANED TOOK ABOUT 1 HOUR & 10 MINUTES,,,,, SO IT IS GOING TO TAKE SOME TIME TO CLEAN THE REST OF IT.
THE TOP PLATE WAS MORE CAKED UP THAN THE BOTTOM PLATE AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES.
(DOES NOT
INCLUDE THE CLEANING STUFF AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS)
IT INCLUDES THE WAFFLE CONE "TRAY" AND HAND HELD "SPINNER" AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES.
IF
YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THESE, I SUGGEST THAT YOU
WATCH THE VIDEOS THAT ARE PUT OUT BY THE MANUFACTURER!
